Tell me your wish → Order to a fellow bat, RYU’s master’s amazing magic

Danny Jansen, 28, a catcher for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB), worked his “witchcraft bat magic.” He didn’t do it with his own bat. He worked a “magic spell” on a teammate’s bat that resulted in a hit.메이저사이트

Jansen was in the dugout for a home game against the Boston Red Sox on Aug. 18, with Ryu Hyun-jin starting. He was sidelined with an injury and cheered on his teammates with a bandaged hand. Jansen was injured in a game against the Colorado Rockies on Feb. 2 when he was hit in the right hand by a foul ball. He fractured his middle finger, underwent surgery, and was declared out for the season.

Despite not being able to share the batteries with Ryu, he gave his all to help his team win the game, most notably by working some magic in the bottom of the eighth inning with his team leading 2-1. George Springer, who was in a hitting slump, cast a spell on his bat before stepping up to the plate. Hoping for a hit to break his slump, he performed a ritual on his bat.

Jansen, whose right hand was in a cast, did just that. Springer took Jansen’s “magic bat” and hit a clean single to center field. He took a 96.7 mph (155.6 km/h) four-seam fastball from reliever Nick Robertson and smashed it for a single. He raised his hand in celebration and thanked Jansen for the valuable hit that washed away his slump.

Springer has been in an extreme hitting slump lately. He hasn’t had a hit since April 14 against the Texas Rangers. He went 0-for-3, 0-for-3, 0-for-4, 0-for-6, and in this game, he was 0-for-3 until the eighth inning. It took him five games to get a hit, and a whopping 21 at-bats to break the silence.

Toronto gave up the tying run in the top of the ninth inning, but came back to win in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the ninth. Ryu Hyun-jin pitched 4.2 scoreless innings to secure the 3-2 victory. The Rays improved to 83-67 and remained in third place in the American League East. They also moved into the second wild-card spot in the American League.
