NC Dinos starting catcher Park Se-hyuk is out with a wrist injury.
NC removed Park Se-hyuk from the 14-day disabled list.
Park was substituted after feeling discomfort in his left wrist during the game against the KT Wiz the previous day 메이저사이트.
An NC official said, “He was diagnosed with wrist tendinitis at a hospital checkup. He will join the rehabilitation group from tomorrow.”
Park, who played for the Doosan Bears until last year, is batting .212 with four home runs and 27 RBIs in 79 games this year, his first season with the NC.
Along with Park, the NC also designated pitcher Cho Min-seok and infielder Choi Bo-sung for assignment.
LG Twins reliever Jung Woo-young is getting some rest.
This is the second time this season that Jung has been removed from the first team roster. He was removed from the roster on July 13, the last day of the first half, due to back discomfort.
This time, it wasn’t an injury. “Jung Woo-young was removed due to poor physical condition,” an LG official said.
Jung, LG’s main bullpen arm, has pitched 42⅔ innings in 50 games this year, going 4-4 with a 4.43 ERA in 11 appearances. The second half of the year was a bit of a disappointment, as he gave up runs in four of his nine games, resulting in a 6.14 ERA in that period.
After falling to last place, the Kiwoom Heroes sent pitcher Kim Dong-kyu and infielder Kim Soo-hwan to the second team. KIA Tigers infielder Kim Kyu-sung, Samsung Lions left-hander Lee Seung-hyun and Doosan Bears infielder Kim Min-hyuk were also dropped from the first team.
