Wine subscription service Purple Dog has launched a women’s professional golf team.

Purple Dog will sponsor nine players this year, including Kang Ria, Kim Da-eun, Kim Bo-bae, Noh Won-kyung, Park Ah-rim, Shim Ji-yeon, 스포츠토토 Yoon Hye-rim, Lee Hye-jung, and Jeong Soo-bin, who play on the KLPGA’s secondary tour, the Dream Tour.

Kim finished fourth at the 2018 KLPGA Tour SK networks Seoul Economic Open, while Lee Hye-jung finished fourth at the 2015 KLPGA Tour Yongpyong Resort Open.

Kim, a long hitter with a driving range of 290 yards, is a former member of the South Korean national team.

Purple Dog CEO Park Jae-jung said, “We are very happy to create a golf team composed of the world’s strongest domestic female professional golfers, and we hope that our sponsored players will also grow with us.”

Purple Dog, a wine subscription service that analyzes and recommends customer tastes based on AI, earlier this year signed sub-sponsorship deals with Ahn So-hyun, Im Jin-hee, Na Hee-won, Kim Woo-jung, and Kim Hee-ji, all of whom play on the KLPGA regular tour, and launched the Ahn So-hyun branded wine subscription service.
