It is a look that can no longer turn a blind eye to players who show good performance in Triple A.
The Toronto Blue Jays called up infielder and outfielder Davis Schneider (24) ahead of an away game against the Boston Red Sox on the 5th (Korean time).
Schneider was selected in the 28th 스포츠토토 round of the 2017 draft and played in 394 games in six seasons in the minor leagues alone.
He stepped on the Triple A stage for the first time last season, and this season, he played 87 games with Triple A Buffalo, batting average of 0.275, on-base percentage of 0.416, slugging percentage of 0.553, 21 homers and 64 RBIs, showing the best appearance since his debut.
His performance in Triple A continued to draw attention from the local media, and the team eventually decided to give him a chance.
Schneider played all positions in the infield and left field except for shortstop in Triple-A this season. He also appeared in one game in right field. Between 2021 and 2022, he appeared in three games as a pitcher and pitched two innings.
Meanwhile, Toronto brought back right-hander Jay Jackson, who had temporarily left the team due to health issues with his new child.
Infielder Ernie Clements went down to Triple-A to make room for the two players, and right-hander Thomas Hatch was designated for transfer.
They also announced the acquisition of outfielder Jordan Louflow, who was waived after the transfer, from the Minnesota Twins on a waiver claim.
Right-hander Mitch White, who was also assigned a similar cigar, passed the waiver and stayed with Triple-A Buffalo.
